ISW Facilitator and FDW Trainer Registry

We continue to experience increased interest worldwide in Instructional Skills Workshops (ISWs). To help us more effectively respond to this growth, the ISW Network Executive Team has put in place a process to enable ISW Facilitators and FDW Trainers to register on our ISW Website.

This is a Registry of ISW Facilitators and FDW Trainers only. Records of ISW participants are to be kept by local ISW Teams. Do not submit the ISW Facilitator Registry Form unless you have completed the requirements to be an ISW Facilitator and are qualified to offer ISWs.

Each ISW Facilitator confirmed for the ISW Registry will be subscribed to the ISW Network Newsletter (ISW Network News). 

The online Facilitator and Trainer Registry process is described below.

Benefits of Registration

Once we have approved your registration, your name will be included (if you choose) on the website list of Facilitators (and if applicable, of Trainers). You will also be provided with an account on the ISW Network Website that will allow you to access:

  • Resources (such as the ISW Handbook)
  • ISW Logos
  • Various Request and Registry forms

You will be able to Login to your account and create a new password for that account.

To create a new password, you need to use the email you provided on your Registry form. The email must still be an active one. If you need to update your Account with a new email, please see the Update directions below.

Once you are into the password-protected area of the website, select My Resources from the drop-down menu at My Account. Selecting My Resources allows access to the Resources available to you as a Facilitator (or as a Trainer if applicable). Various ISW Forms are also accessible from the drop-down menu at My Account once you are logged in to your Account.

Complete the ISW Facilitator Registry Form

If you previously registered as an ISW Facilitator, but do not find your name on the website Facilitator list, it is possible you did not provide consent to be listed on the website. Please use the Contact Form if you need assistance with an existing Account.

If you have not previously registered as an ISW Facilitator, please complete the ISW Facilitator Registry Form on this page: https://www.iswnetwork.ca/isw-facilitator-reg-form/.

Once you submit the ISW Facilitator Registry Form, it will be reviewed for verification. This review includes confirming your name has been submitted by your Trainer indicating whether you are qualified to be on the ISW Facilitator Registry or if you have other requirements to complete first.

For ISW Facilitators from China: Please read this message as we do not review ISW Facilitator Registry Forms from ISW Facilitators in China. There is a separate ISW Facilitator Registry for those who offer ISWs in Mandarin.

Complete the FDW Trainer Registry Form

If you are also an FDW Trainer (and have an FDW Trainer Certificate), please complete the FDW Trainer Registry form which is accessed from the Forms section once you are logged in to your ISW Account on the ISW Website. If you are an FDW Trainer who has not yet registered as an ISW Facilitator, you must first complete the ISW Registry Form above. Once you have been verified as an ISW Facilitator and have been given an ISW Account, you can access the FDW Trainer Registry Form by using your Account.

Update your registry details

If you are on the ISW Registry and you need to change your name, email, affiliation and/or geographical information, please contact us for assistance. If you update your contact information in WordPress, we will not have enough information to update your ISW Registry and ISW Account.

Please be sure to indicate ALL information that needs to be updated including: Name, Affiliation (name of your institution/organization or indicate Independent Facilitator or Trainer), Location (Country, City, and Province/State if you are in Canada or the U.S.) and the email you wish to use for your website account.

We try to complete the review of ISW Registry Forms within 3 weeks of their receipt. Please check your spam/junk email folder if you have not heard from us in 2-3 weeks.
