ISW Facilitator and FDW Trainer Registry

We continue to experience increased interest worldwide in Instructional Skills Workshops (ISWs). To help us more effectively respond to this growth, the ISW Network Executive Team has put in place a process to enable ISW Facilitators and FDW Trainers to register on our ISW Website.

This is a Registry of ISW Facilitators and FDW Trainers only. Records of ISW participants are kept by local ISW Teams, not on the ISW Website.

We ask each ISW Facilitator confirmed for the ISW Registry to subscribe to the ISW Network Newsletter

ISW Facilitators/FDW Trainers may submit the Newsletter Subscription Form at the same time as submitting the ISW Registry Form.

The online Facilitator and Trainer Registry process is described below.

Benefits of Registration

Once we have approved your registration, your name will be included (if you choose) on the website list of Facilitators (and if applicable, of Trainers). You will also be provided with an account on the ISW Network Website that will allow you to access:

  • Facilitator/Trainer resources (such as the ISW Handbook)
  • ISW Logos
  • Event Submission form

You will be able to Log into your account from the Account page. You will also be able to create a new password on this Account webpage.

To create a new password, you need to use the email you provided on your Registry form (or on the earlier Survey). The email must still be an active one. If you need to update your Account with a new email, please see the Update directions below.

Once you are into the password-protected area of the website, select My Resources from the drop-down menu at My Account. Selecting My Resources allows access to the Resources available to you as a Facilitator (or as a Trainer if applicable).

Complete the ISW Facilitator Registry Form

If you previously registered as an ISW Facilitator (and possibly as an FDW Trainer), but do not find your name on the website Facilitator (Trainer) list, we likely need more information to verify your previous registration. It is possible you did not provide consent to be listed on the website. Please use the Contact Form if you need assistance with an existing Account.

If you have not previously registered as an ISW Facilitator, please complete the ISW Facilitator Registry Form:

Once you submit the ISW Facilitator Registry Form, it will be reviewed for verification. We will contact you to indicate whether your application is accepted or if we need further information.

For some countries, we are not able to provide the technical support needed at your location for access to the password-protected area of the website. This is usually because of technical protocols in place outside Canada. In these cases, including for ISW Facilitators in China, please work with your FDW Trainer to access the resources you need to offer your ISWs.

We can only process Registry Forms on an occasional basis. It could be some time before you receive notification about your Registry Form. Thank you for your patience.

Complete the FDW Trainer Registry Form

If you are also an FDW Trainer (and have a FDW Trainer Certificate), please complete the FDW Trainer Registry form. If you are a FDW Trainer who has not yet registered as an ISW Facilitator, you may complete both forms at the same time. However, the FDW Trainer Registry form will not be reviewed until your ISW Facilitator Registry Form has been verified.

Update your registry details

If you are registered as an ISW Facilitator (and possibly as an FDW Trainer) and you need to change your name, email, affiliation and/or other geographical information, please contact us.

Please be sure to indicate ALL information that needs to be updated including: Name, Affiliation (name of your institution/organization or indicate Independent Facilitator or Trainer), Location (Country, Province/State and City) and the primary email you wish to use for your website account.

Thank you again for your patience with the time it may take to manage logistical details involved in this ISW Facilitator and FDW Trainer Registry process.
