Facilitator Training

FDW: The Facilitator Development Workshop (FDW) is commonly used for the initial training of new ISW Facilitators. This is a 40-hour, cohort-based workshop, led by one or two FDW Trainers, usually for 4-5 participants. Each participant receives feedback on leading various components of the ISW for the other participants in the FDW.

Note 1: Completion of the cohort-based FDW is one of the pre-requisites for an ISW Facilitator who later applies to enter the advanced training program to become an FDW Trainer.

Note 2: All new ISW Facilitators are expected to develop their skills further by working collaboratively with other members of the ISW Team at their own institution or organization.
