New Facilitator Toolkit – PD Event (in Zoom)

Join us on Friday, March 5 from 9:00–10:30 am Pacific Time (Canada & USA) for a virtual (Zoom) gathering of ISW facilitators as we explore resources created by the New Facilitator Toolkit work bee group. Event participants are asked to sign into zoom 15 minutes prior to start time and are invited to stay on for informal conversation after the event concludes.

This next PD event in our ISW Buzz Group series will be led by Judy Bornais (University of Windsor) and Mavis Smith (Camosun College) who were the co-leads of the work bee group creating this Toolkit. They will highlight the new resources, with small group activities offered to help participants reflect on which resources might be most useful in various ISW contexts.

We can have about 90 ISW facilitators register for this Zoom event. As we have about 150 institutions plus 100 independent facilitators in the ISW Network, initially only one ISW person per institution (as identified by the local institution) will be approved to attend this event. We will allot some spaces for independent ISW facilitators. A waitlist will be kept in case spaces are open closer to the event.

Each person who registers must be on the ISW Registry as described on our Facilitator/Trainer Registry webpage. You may register for the March 5 event and then complete the ISW Registry if you have not already done so.

The New Facilitator Toolkit Resources will be posted in the password-protected area of the ISW Network website in early February. To view the new Toolkit Resources, ISW Facilitators will need to sign into your ISW Website Account, and choose My Account (and then My Resources) from the website’s main menu bar. ISW Facilitators need to be approved members of the ISW Registry to access the website’s password-protected area.
